This position will reside within the Human Resources organization of the future ConocoPhillips, the upstream company.? ? Description: The?Human Resources Business Partner ? Lower 48?is responsible for providing?human resources?consultation and support to the Commercial Activities organization and supporting key Lower 48 HR initiatives / priorities.? The position utilizes collaboration and leadership skills to identify and address HR issues / processes, establish effective solutions and implement correlating actions. Accountable for all HRBP functions, contributing independently within the HRBP network and working as an integral team member with the Lower 48 HR team. ? Responsibilities may include:

  • Driving implementation of core business staffing plans
  • Performing complex and non-routine HRBP functions
  • Developing creative solutions to various problems and advising businesses accordingly
  • Acting as thinking partner/coach for business leadership on various HR issues & processes impacting the strategic and long range business plans?
  • Ensuring processes are consistent while maintaining client relationships through understanding their strategies and business operations??
  • Consulting on HR issues regarding staffing, compensation, performance management, retention, employee relations/complaints, talent and succession management
  • Consulting with the COEs (Centers of Excellence)?and implementing policies/programs while providing feedback on issues impacting the business (e.g. compensation, staffing, employee relations, talent management)
  • Participating on?special projects related to delivering the strategic needs of the business

?? Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree
  • 5+ years of direct experience as a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner?
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software applications
  • Results oriented, both individually and for a team; demonstrated ability to deliver key results on stretch goals
  • Able to evaluate short and long range needs of business
  • Customer focus - relates well with employees at all levels
  • Outstanding networking & collaboration skills, both internal and external; able to influence without authority
  • Broad HR technical expertise
  • Strategic thinker / thinking partner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify and leverage opportunities
